Assessment usually involves a Trans-Nasal Endoscopy (TNO) to provide the best view of the airway and vocal cords to further assess the issue and determine the most effective treatment plan.

Recent changes within the NHS mean that wax removal is no longer a service provided by the NHS.
​
Therefore we offer a quick and effective service for your symptoms ranging from hearing loss, ear infections, excess wax discharge, itching and discomfort.
Excessive wax build up is also common place and can be problematic with the use of with hearing aids.
​
We use microsuction alongside an endoscope to visualise and safely remove earwax, dry skin and foreign bodies. This treatment is recommended by NICE guidelines.
Microsuction can be used even in the event of most previous ear conditions including grommets, mastoid cavities and long term perforated eardrums.

Your practitioner Vita has trained in both NHS and private clinic environments, being knowledgable and experienced with all forms of pathology and conditions that may occur in the ear. She will identify and advise if an issue/condition is visible and requires medical treatment or referral.

As well as a clinic at Haven Medical, Vita provides a home-visit service for clients who prefer treatment tin the comfort of their own home. We bring all equipment to your home including treatment couch and sterile environment.
